Car insurance isnt a luxury

The answer to the question above is no, if you were wondering. Every time that you get in the car the chances that you are driving around someone who does not have car insurance is pretty high. Twelve out a hundred cars are not insured by their owners. For example, imagine looking out a window into a giant parking lot with fifty cars. Out of these fifty cars you will be able to assume that six of those cars are probably not insured. This makes it worst for the people that actually care about owning car insurance because the premiums go up all over the nation the more people that drive without auto insurance.
In today’s economy some people view having auto insurance as something they can’t afford and do not need to get by. This is something that is not true. Without car insurance if you were to get pulled over you can get tickets and get your license could be revoked and have many other consequences that affect your wallet. Any police officer will tell you so and promote the idea of you having auto insurance for the basic thought that it is illegal to not have it.
There are a couple of things you can do to save money and make car insurance a required item again for those who don’t have it. You can reduce your deductible (if you reduce it you save money over periods of years), keep you driving record clean (if you do this your rates go down over time because you have proven to the insurance company that you can drive well. This also means that your premiums are lower every month for good driving), insuring more than one vehicle or having at least two different insurances with one company (most insurance companies offer discounts for doing this), getting married (if you’re going to get married or are married you can get insurance discounts), keeping the same insurance company for a long time (the longer you are with an insurance company the more that company will keep reducing your rates because you are a long term customer), and look for the right insurance and compare between them (if you do this you can find the best coverage for you and your auto insurance needs). All of this will promise those that are too good for car insurance, that they can afford it again and it isn’t just a luxury.
